As a small Independent practice, WWS Physical Therapy and Vestibular Rehabilitation staff work hard to compete with regional Hospitals, corporate PT practices, and Physician-owned PT centers. WWSPT is celebrating our 20th year.
This proposed 8% medicare cut (link below) with affect our reimbursement and potentially access for seniors to receive PT services.
Physical Therapy services are not only important in Fall prevention but also in preventing more costly services such as surgery.
Physical Therapists also work to help reduce the cost of the Opioid epidemic with treatment to reduce pain with hands-on therapies and pain-relieving exercises and teaching body mechanics.
I have a great WWS Physical Therapy and Vestibular Rehabilitation Staff that facilitates recovery for our patients every day and we would like to continue to provide this care. Please contact your State Representative or Congressman soon to voice your opinion about the proposed 8% Medicare cut.
